Regarding your family history:

Wow-- Mdewakanton Sioux.  

A few years back, I taught a social studies class to a few kids from the Mystic Lake area and we put together a website (no longer up and running) about Mdewakanton history-- oyur best questions and the answers they could find (oral and written).  Of course the Dakota Conflict was talked about (1862).  

Interesting to read your blogs.  Glad to see you&#039;re so widely respected and loved.  Send any work you can my way! :-)
